Helvetia is a town in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the town population was 649.

As of the census of 2000, there were 649 people, 271 households, and 198 families residing in the town. The population density was 18.1 people per square mile (7.0/km²). There were 362 housing units at an average density of 10.1 per square mile (3.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.38% White, 0.15% African American, 0.15% Asian, and 0.31% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.31% of the population.
